BEND, OR / LONDON, UK: 19th February 2019 – Kollective has announced that it has successfully completed the annual SOC 2 Type II Service Organization Control (SOC 2) examination. This certifies that the company’s leading software-defined enterprise content delivery products and services are in accordance with attestation standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
The SOC 2 report provides Kollective’s customers with assurance the company has designed and implemented effective security controls that meet the independent standards defined in the SOC 2 report. These standards ensure the protection of clients’ data privacy, the security of the provider’s system and provide a guarantee that Kollective’s products and services ensure adequate collection, retention and use of personal information.
Security has always been a top priority for the company as evidenced by Kollective completing the rigorous SOC 2 certification every year since 2009. “Each year we review and update controls. The SOC 2 examination process takes several months to complete and it displays our commitment to providing our enterprise customers with an independent opinion of the Trust Services Criteria against our company’s internal controls and processes,” said Karen Castagnera, Kollective’s Senior Vice President of Operations. “The world’s largest companies trust Kollective to help them to stay connected to their employees and collaborate worldwide. We are committed to being a trusted partner for our customers and will continue to invest in top-notch security and compliance.”
Commenting on the accreditation, John Wainwright, Kollective’s Chief Technology Officer, said, “As a leader in both the enterprise video and software delivery space, our products are deployed across more than 5.5 million end points in over 190 countries. We have a long-standing commitment to our customers’ privacy and security. Our completion of the SOC 2 report demonstrates this continued commitment, with our products meeting the highest standards in the industry.”
